Kevin Swanson
Homeschooled himself in the 1960’s and 70’s, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children. Kevin has 35 years of experience in the homeschooling movement and serves as the founding director of Generations with Vision – a ministry he founded to strengthen homeschool families around the country. As a father who wants to leave a godly heritage for his own five children, Kevin’s passion is to strengthen and encourage the homeschooling movement all over the world, and to cast a vision for generations to come. For the last 10 years Kevin has hosted a daily radio program – Generations Radio – the world’s largest homeschooling and Biblical worldview radio program that reaches families across the US and in over 80 countries.
Kevin also served as the Executive Director of Christian Home Educators of Colorado from 1998-2009. He has also authored many popular books for homeschoolers, including Upgrade-10 Secrets to the Best Education for Your Child, Second Mayflower, the Family Bible Study Guide Series, Christian Classics Study Guide, and others. Serving as a passionate advocate of home education, he has been interviewed on hundreds of media outlets, including Dr. James’ Dobson’s Focus on the Family and the Fox News Network.
He is also a teaching pastor at Reformation Church in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Galen Horst
Galen operates a farm equipment fabrication business with his wife Patricia near Palmer Rapids Ontario. www.ghorstenterprise.com
He started as an entrepreneur in 2000 at 19 years of age doing welding and building farm equipment in rented shop. Within a few years the business had grown and had a few employees and a new facility. www.horstline.com
In 2009 they sold the business and relocated to a farm where they still operate a smaller welding business. The vision for this business venture is a family integrated approach. They home school their five children as well.
Gord Maretzki
Gord is happily married to Paula for 18 years, and together they have been blessed with eight children between the ages of 2 to16.
He and his family recently moved to the Niagara Region settling on a 47 acre farm which provides the backdrop from which to raise his family, run his business and practice the discipline of the agrarian lifestyle.
Gord is a an Engineer by profession and for the past 9 years has run his own engineering contracting business. Prior to this, he worked in an engineering capacity for a number of manufacturing and construction firms in the private sector.
He includes his family whenever possible in his contracting, farming, construction endeavors as well as any other ventures he pursues.
The whole family is involved, each one contributing to the family economy.
Ervin Webers
We are a family with 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl, we have 2 business, farming and selling wood cook stoves. We attend local markets with our produce and trade shows with our stoves
